Xiaomi: setting up my phone to ensure GPS tracking works

By default, Xiaomi phones disable geolocation when the device is locked or sleeping. In our case, we want the app to keep emitting your location even when the screen is off! Here are the few steps to follow to make sure GPS tracking works as expected.

1. Go to global settings and select Battery & performance.

2. Then select Choose apps.

3. Search for the DotVision Motion app in the list. You may use the search bar if you have a lot of apps installed.

4. Finally, select No restrictions and you're good to go!
